Married or not married, what’s best?  Of course, when we are faced with this choice, it is not an easy thing.  There are many factors that will influence your decision making.  Life is often a choice and all decisions will return to the individual of us.  Most of people decide to do marriage is because of love. But also often the decision making is influenced by external factors, such as family background, religion, tradition and our environment.  However, there may be several factors that can be made into your consideration before making a decision.  Are we getting married or are we not getting married?

But there are also some people who think that marriage is not a necessity, marriage is only one of life choice. It’s just one of the processes of life that is owned by humans. There are also many people who live together without being married. In fact, they also have their own generation from this life process, they do their own life with all their consequences that they get from their life choice. There must be strong reasons why they don’t want to get married in their lives.  Whatever it is, they have their own rights, we can’t force our opinion on others. We have to respect someone thoughts if we want to be respected too. 

Married or not married, again, it is a choice for everyone in living their process of his life.  However, what if I share information about some of the things that caused people to decide to get married or not.  Below we share some of the strong reasons why you decide to marry or not to marry.

Some Reasons When You Decide to Get Married?

Love

When you find your true love and feel confident with your partner that he or she is the right person for you to be with you for the rest of your life, then usually you will not hesitate to marry him or her.  Love is the best and most popular reason to get married and many of them succeed in their married life.

Age

Age in marriage does indeed have a big influence.  Why?  Because some people say that, a person’s life will only begin when he or she is married.  This means that after we get married we will usually face various tests and challenges.  If they don’t have enough maturity, of course it will affect the married life itself. Maturity is needed in marriage. 

Another kind of age problem is late marriage, you feel that you are old enough and you haven’t got married so you decide in hurry to marry someone because you are afraid being single in your old age. It can also be one of the reasons to get married.  So, you have to be careful if you decide to get married because of your age or late marriage.  You still have to think about other aspects as some reasons for you to get married. Because you will regret it later, if you decide it in a hurry, not a few people who decide to get married because of age at the end they fail in their marriage.

Religious Reasons.

As it said, there is one religious lesson that says if marriage is worship.  One of the religious is Islam, it is tought that married is worship, but of course in choosing a partner for marriage must be considered carefully and decided based on many aspects.  Since we choose a partner for life, of course we don’t want to make the wrong choice.

Arranged Married

Arranged Married is usually motivated by culture, religion or  family or parents thoughts.  Even though in a very modern era like today, it turns out that there are still many people who get married because of an arranged marriage.  Success or failure depends on the person who goes through it, but believe it or not, arranged marriages are still a lot. For example, the country where arranged marriages are done is India.

To Avoid Loneliness

Just because you don’t want to be alone in your life, you decide to get married.  Be careful if you make this decision without being supported by other reasons.  Of course you want the person who will accompany you is the person you love, the person who loves you in bad or good times. Because if you only want the accompanient from her or him, and he or she is not good your partner in your life, it will be nightmare for your marriage.

Social Status.

Not a few people who decide to get married because they want to change their social status, aka want to be rich.  They choose their partner only because their partner looks rich and can fulfill all the needs that he or she wants.  Wanting to change social status is good, but it would be better to do it by hard working, not by getting married.  Because no one knows what will happen in the future.  What if the spouse you marry turns out to be suddenly poor, do you leave him because of that?  No one can predict a person’s future, so be wise in making the decision to get married.

Commitment

This excuse is not bad, but it would be better if we commit to someone that we love, someone that can make you happy and feel comfort.  So that the marriage will going well to your wishes, become happy and long term marriage.

Want to Have Family

Many people decide to get married because they want to have real family, they want to have wife or husband and also children. This reason also is not a bad reason, moreover if you put it based on love too and other aspects needed.

Actually, there may still be many reasons for you to get married.  But I only give an idea, it would be nice if in deciding to get married, you must be careful.  Of course, it would be very good if all aspects were considered, because you are the ones who will do your marriage. You want your marriage to be happy, have a complete family and forever.  So think it carefully,  because you and your partner will run it, not someone else.

Before I share some of the reasons someone decides to get married.  Next, I will share why people don’t want to get married.  Here are some of the reasons people decide not to get married.

Love Freedom and Don’t Want Any Commitment.

If you are a person who does not like commitment and wants to live as freely as possible, then this is a natural choice for you to make in your life.

Trauma or Having a Bad Experience.

Bad experience here means based on your circumstances, which show that marriage is not a good or positive thing.  For example, in his or her family there are many divorces, violence in marriage or unfairness in marriage relations.

Fear of Change.

There are some people who are comfortable with their own lives.  Feeling that there is nothing wrong with his or her life and wanting to continue like that.  She or he doesn’t want any change in her or his life, so is afraid that if she or he gets married, it will change everything in his or her life.

Financial Problems

Many people are not married because they feel they are not financially enough.  Because for them marriage requires a large capital preparation and the cost of living is quite large in living it. 

Maybe there are many other reasons that are used as reasons by someone not to get married.  It is someone’s choice of life and someone’s right not to marry.

From all the explanations above, maybe we can conclude that deciding to marry or not to marry is not an easy thing.  Therefore, all decisions we take must be carefully considered.  All aspects must be considered, because you are the one who will run the marriage.  The goal of course you want your marriage to be happy and lasting forever.

Best Exercises for Pregnant Women

If You are pregnant, please don’t make it reason for you become lazy and stop exercising. Normaly, doing light exercise is good to support the  womb health and also maintain pregnant women stamina. In fact, doing light exercise will help pregnant women in dealing with body shape change and they will more relax during the birth period. The positive benefits of pregnant women who is doing light exercise, are not only felt by themselves but the benefits are also felt by the baby in the womb.

Why do pregnant women need to do light exercise? Here are some benefits that can be considered:

  • Every time pregnant women do light exercise, the womb will get more oxygen that flow into the blood. This can stimulate the body’s metabolic processes so that the body will feel more comfortable.
  • Light exercise can reduce pain in the body of pregnant women, reduce waist aches and back pains.
  • It can also improve the pregnant woman mood and will make her more comfortable when sleeping.
  • Light exercise can also make the fetus more relax.
  • Light exercise can also help the fetus development due to increased blood flow in the mother’s body.
  • Regular light exercise during pregnancy will also make it easier for after birth recovery.
  • Besides that, by exercising during pregnancy you can also improve heart performance, regulate body weight and maintain body fitness.

But before doing these sports, it’s a good idea for pregnant women to check their womb and ask for advice from a gynecologist, what exercise can be done acorrding to their health condition.  Because surely, each pregnant woman has different body conditions and health conditions.  Not all pregnant women can exercise lightly. Therefore, pregnant women should be careful in deciding what sport is good for her.  If the pregnant woman is allowed to do light exercise her gynecologist, then there are some light exercise options that can be done:

  1. Casual Walk

This sport is the lightest sport, simple and does not require equipment or any costs. Casual walking can be done around the house or using a treadmill in your house, which one is more suitable for you. For a beginner pregnant woman of casual walk can be done as far as 1km for 3 times a week. Next, it can adjust to the strength of the pregnant woman body.

  1. Swimming

Swimming is a good exercise to do during pregnancy. Swimming is useful for dealing with discomfort during pregnancy, such as back pain, swollen legs and difficulty sleeping. Swimming is also good for joints and body blood flow.

  1. Yoga

This sport is chosen by many pregnant women.  Why?  Because there are so many benefits for pregnant women when doing yoga regularly.  But usually yoga is good to do after 14 weeks of pregnancy.  Because the age of the first trimester of pregnancy is a vulnerable age.  What are the benefits of yoga for pregnant women?

  • Doing yoga can accelerate blood circulation.
  • It also helps to improve the pregnant women posture.
  • It can improve sleep quality.
  • It also reduce stress and anxiety.
  • Yoga can reduce complaints of body aches and nauseous.
  • It is reducing the risk of pregnancy complications.

  1. Indoor static cycling.

This type of exercise is good for increasing your heart rate without putting pressure on your joints.

  1. Aerobic Gymnastics (pregnant women).

Aerobic Gymnastics, especially Low Impact Aerobics is good to maintain heart and lung health. In doing this aerobic exercise, pregnant women must be accompanied and supervised by a certified trainer.

  1. Stretching.

Doing stretching exercises can make the body more flexible and strong during pregnancy.

Kegel exercises can strengthen the muscles that strengthen the bladder, womb and abdomen.  By strengthening these muscles during pregnancy, pregnant women will feel more relax.

However, the exercises for pregnant women must be stopped immediately if they feel certain complaints or symptoms such as headache, chest pain, shortness of breath, bleeding or other liquid come out from the vagina, continuous contractions, fast heartbeat and lack of womb movement.

After you know that light exercises are good for pregnant women, then you also have to know what sports should be avoided by pregnant women. Read carefully the explanation below:

  1. Team sports that use a lot of physical contact such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc.
  2. Scuba diving can risk of putting pressure in the uterus that can harm the fetus.

Light exercise is important for pregnant women, but there are some conditions that forbid pregnant woman in exercising. These conditions are:

  1. Pregnant women forbid to do exercise if there is a problem with the cervix.
  2. High blood pressure during pregnancy.
  3. If they have or are at risk of having preterm labor.
  4. If they have history of heart and lung disease, anemia, joint pain and diabetes that is not handled properly.
  5. Have had two or more miscarriages.
  6. They have weak cervix conditions.
  7. Low placental position.

After knowing the various information above, there are also tips for you pregnant women to be comfortable in exercising.  These tips are:

  • Wear comfortable clothes, and use a bra that supports your breasts well.
  • Wear sports shoes that can protect against injury.
  • Eat calorie meals an hour before doing light exercise.
  • Warm up before doing light exercise and cool down after.
  • Perform the movement on a flat surface to avoid injury.
  • Avoid to change your body position suddenly.
  • Always follow the instructions of a certified instructor.

Maybe most of us know only a few ways to give birth to a baby, or maybe only know 2 ways, they are vaginal birth and surgery.  Your guess is wrong, there are several methods of giving birth.  Therefore, here we will provide information on several methods of giving birth. Maybe one of them will be your choice if you want to give birth to a baby.  There are several methods of giving birth that will be discussed to be considered in choosing the method of giving birth.

Normal Method

This method is the most common method that everyone knows.  Normal method is a method of giving birth through the mother’s vagina.  The method of normal giving birth is the method most often recommended.  Why?  Because it turns out that the normal giving birth method has some advantages, they are a faster healing and recovery process, reduced risks in childbirth, faster bonding, avoid psychological problems such as baby blues syndrome, easier in breastfeeding, increased baby’s brain development, babies are healtier and more active, simple procedures, lower cost and many more advantages.

Surgery Method

Surgery Method or often called C-section is the second method of giving birth that is often theO choice of pregnant women. Surgery method is done by making an incision in the abdomen to the uterus to remove the baby.  The incision is a way out for the baby.  Doctors usually make a longitudinal incision in a horizontal direction just above the pubic bone.  This method of giving birth has to be done in a hospital and it is done around the 39th week or when the Doctor advises you to do a surgery immediately.  Usually this is recommended by doctors because of the risks in childbirth.  To perform C-section, you must get a recommendation from a doctor, so it is not only choose a method.  When it comes to choose C-section, there are several risks that will arise for both mother and baby. It is good for us to know the knowledge. 

For the mothers, besides surgical wounds, mothers tend to feel trauma which will lead to Post Partum depression. And for the infants there are usually several effects that arise:

  • Weak Immunity.
  • Having trouble in breathing.
  • Vomiting excess fluid.
  • Breath sounds like “watery”.
  • Delayed Bonding, because mother’s separation is too long.
  • It is difficult to breastfeeding due to weak suction.
  • Your child is at risk for asthma and obesity.

Home Giving Birth

As the name implies, the method of giving birth at home is a method of giving birth in our homes, this method of giving birth is still rarely done because of many considerations. This method of giving birth has the advantage that we do not need to go to the hospital, but a doctor or medical personnel who comes to our house must bring necessary equipments that needed. Some important considerations that must be taken when deciding to do home giving birth are:

  • Have a normal pregnancy, not at high risk.
  • Overall physical health.
  • Do not have diabetes or high blood pressure.
  • Never gave birth vaginally after cesarean.
  • Not carrying twins.
  • Have given birth before, although this condition is not always guaranteed.
  • Ensure adequate equipment, doctors and medical personnel are experienced in carrying out this method.

Water Birth

PThe method of giving birth in water or commonly known as Water Birth.  Water birth is also claimed as a method of giving birth that facilitates the delivery process. This happens because soaking in warm water helps reduce stomach pain and back pain. The process of giving birth in water is carried out in an artificial pond filled with clean and warm water at waist level.  Generally giving birth in water is carried out by certified and experienced experts in our homes, but now there are many hospitals and birthing clinics that use this method. Watter birth can be one of the methods of giving birth of your choice. But of course you have to look for about the possitive and negative information for your consideration in making decisions that suit to your health condition. Always consult everything with your obstetrician.

Pregnant, Then What Should You Do?

Pregnancy, it is something that maybe can bring happiness for you. Especially when we really want a child in our lives. Happy?  Of course we will feel that, but not a few women who are panic, nervous and afraid to face pregnancy. That’s normal and very natural responses. Now, I will give you some steps you need to take when you first hear that you are pregnant.

First, don’t panic and calm yourself down. Then find the right time to talk to your partner. Tell him everything slowly and carefully to him that you are pregnant his baby. Look at his response, if he looks happy, that would be great. Because he will give you full supports to pass your pregnancy time and the birth of the baby. A baby is a gift for a partner who is longing to it.  Your partner will of course support you, because it is also going to be his child.

After you tell him the news of your pregnancy, the next thing to do is to find some free time for you and go to a gynecologist. Do consulting and get needed information about how to have a good pregnancy.  Of course you don’t want something bad to happen to your baby-to-be, therefore you must consult to an expert, namely a gynecologist.

In general, there are three basic things that you must prepare when you find out that you are pregnant. There are physical, mental or psychological preparation and financial preparation.  The three basic things that must be prepared when you find out that you are pregnant and of course, you will really need the support from the closest people who love you.  Your spouse or husband, your parents, your brother or sister or even your friends. They might even be more excited and passionate than yourself.

Physical preparation, it is the most important thing when knowing you are pregnant. Whys? A pregnant woman will experience major changes in her physique. Although significant changes will not occur in the first trimester of pregnancy. At the first trimester of your pregnancy, usually you will feel back pain, nausea and easily tired. Of course these things are not easy to pass. Consult these things with your obstetrician and ask for solutions, vitamins or any suggestions to reduce these things. In the second trimester, usually changes in body shape begin to occur and facing significant physical changes will affect the pregnant woman. Maybe you will feel uncomfortable with the pain and aches that you feel in your body during pregnancy. Or  maybe you will feel uncomfortable with the physical changes that you are experiencing. This is why you really need support from your partner or husband.  Or even your family will reassure you that everything is normal for pregnant women and they will convince you that there are many ways to get your body changes back to normal again.  Many women have proven it, even when they have more than one child, with hard work, their bodies return to normal.  Don’t worry too much about these things. The most important things are you and the baby are healthy. 

Mental and psychological preparation, when you are pregnant, you will experience physical and mental or psychological changes. With the body changes that you are going through, you will also experience mental or psychological changes.  It should be understood that these changes occur due to increased pregnancy hormones. They are the estrogen and progesterone hormones.  Although the hormones estrogen and progesterone help your baby’s development, they also affect your nerves. You will feel easily tired, nauseous, lower back pain, feeling sensitive and easily emotional. And again, I will repeat my words that the support of closest people are very important.  Especially your spouse or husband.

Financial Preparation, that is a very certain things that also we have to prepare. Because you have to prepare the best to maintain pregnancy and welcome your baby. After finding out that you are pregnant, money is very needed, for you to visit the obstetrician, buying additional nutritions to maintain the body and pregnancy, preparing the place for your beloved baby, preparing equipment and clothes for the baby.  And of course all of that costs money.

Those three things above are general things needed to prepare for pregnancy and childbirth.  But of course all of the above will be very good if you get full support from your spouse or husband, also from your closest family who really loves you. 

But I will also tell you the details of the steps that must be taken during pregnancy:

  1. Choose the best obstetrician according to you and closest to your place.  Consult regularly.
  2. Regularly consume vitamins, pregnant milk and eat nutritious foods.
  3. Avoid stress.
  4. Save for birth expenses.
  5. Prepare maternity clothes.
  6. Spare some times for exercising that is allowed for pregnant women.
  7. Recognize the danger signs of pregnancy.
  8. Get vaccinated.
  9. Keep control of fetal development and start learning to recognize contractions.
  10. Caring for the breasts in preparation for breastfeeding.
  11. Prepare a place, clothes and equipment for your baby.
  12. Avoid negative thoughts and always be possitive.
  13. Do not consume anything that is prohibited for consumption by pregnant women.
  14. Follow and do all the instructions of your gynecologist.
  15. Always discuss anything to your spouse or husband about your pregnancy.
  16. If you are a religious person, pray more, asking God for your pregnancy to be good untill giving birth.

Pregnant, bless or nightmare?

Everyday is about learning...

I know when people heard about pregnancy, what come next can be different reactions. It can be happy, shock or nervous, sad and anger. It is all can happen because it has different situations. But for myself and maybe for most of women, pregnancy is a bless. No need spesific reasons to explain that is a bless. We have heart, we just can feel it, it is natural feeling that is given by God. As simple as that. 

Happy, that will be felt if she thinks that pregnancy is a bless. Usually when u think it is a bless means your condition so ready to have a baby. Maybe you are married and longing for a child or you are old enough to have a baby, or you just think that you want that baby because maybe you think that baby will become minnie you but on different version. The baby can be a bless for most people, for a woman, for a couple, for husband and wife, or even for a family that really want the baby in their family, especially for the pregnant woman. If the pregnant woman already feels that is a bless, then it will become easier to do the proccess until giving birth is come. Why it will become easier, because the pregnant woman will start to find out how to do and to pass the procces with some knowledge, she will read, ask to someone or even she will go to someone expert on it, the obstetricians. She will be very careful in everything after she knows that she is pregnant. She will take care her pregnancy. She will find out what she is going to face on pregnancy and giving birth things. Because the pregnant woman must know all the consequences of doing gregnancy and giving birth. Even maybe, she will sacrifice everything for all the process that she must going through. Why?

Because the pregnant woman will get major things to pass the proccess until giving birth is come.  She will get major changes to her body and her life, she will also have sensitive conditions or feelings and so many more will come, things that even not easy to feel, to do and to pass. She will try to make sure that pregnancy will going good for her and the baby. If she feels happy with her pregnancy, as a normal human being, she will try to make sure that she and the baby will be fine. She will run all the proccess happily and all the proccess will go normal without any heavy problems. Of course that is a hope for all pregnancy woman. Happy and healthy for mom and the baby at last.

Shock and nervous, Those are feelings that might be come after u know that you are pregnant. Shock and nervous, their can be caused by unready conditions. Many things can that, maybe you are too young to become a mother, you are not married yet, you don’t expect near pregnancy, you are pregnant while you are still doing your study, you are pregnant while you are having your good carrier, you are to afraid to become a mother or you are to afraid of giving birth, or maybe your partner doesn’t want a child and so many other reasons. Shock and nervous are normal feeling when it happens. Nervous comes if you don’t know a lot about  pregnancy or giving birth. That is why, again i have to tell that try to calm down yourself, take some smart steps wisely and not in hurry. Talk to someone that you can trust and know u well, maybe your parent, your brother or sister, but more important is to your partner, the father of your baby. If all those things are happening to you, first thing first don’t be panic, take your time to think it carefuly, or maybe you have to talk to someone who is trustworthy and close to you. Tell everything honestly, let your feeling out and ask him/her to discuss or maybe ask for some good advices. Shock and nervous are very normal feelings, so just take steps smartly, wisely and not in hurry. Just remember onething important tha baby is innocent.
